When Genevieve Grimm's mother dies, she's left with questions no one can answer--until she receives an invitation to Enchantra, a cursed palace in Italy, frozen in time and shrouded in strange fruit. So when the hostile and sinfully handsome Rowin Silver refuses to let her inside, Genevieve finds her own way in . . . only to realize her mistake. For Enchantra is a twisted labyrinth, carved from gleaming silver and thorned hedges, where Rowin and his six siblings are forever trapped in a deadly game, at the mercy of a wicked Devil and his ghastly spectators. And while Genevieve's willing to do whatever it takes to survive, she knows she can't trust Rowin, that the desire burning between them is a lie. After all, it was Rowin who taught her Enchantra's first rule . . . Never, ever trust your heart.

"I am the biggest SIMP for this book!
I loved the characters, I loved the story line, I loved the GAMES, I LOVE ROWIN
I will say it Rowin is the winner of the “touch her and DIE” trope and no I will not be taking comments about it
I cannot believe the amount of times HE…. 😳🫣
Amazing give me book 3 right now "
"4.5 ⭐️ I had so much fun with Phantasma I couldn’t wait to start this interconnected standalone which follows Ophelia’s sister after the conclusion of the games. We still get another creepy castle and deadly games to play but under different circumstances. I think I may have enjoyed this one even more than the first because I felt more connected to the characters. Overall this book scratches the mildly dark but still super fun with some spice in it itch, and I’m here for it."

"<b>Enchantra<b> (Wicked Games #2) is a spicy, enemies-to-lovers dark gothic fantasy romance, that takes place after Ophelia Grimm wins the deadly competition at Phantasma, meets the love of her life, and helps him to escape his father, the King of Hell. This story follows her younger sister, Genevieve Grimm, who struggles to know where she belongs now that her sister is head of the house and settles into her new life.<br/><br/>Genevieve finds an old invitation her deceased mother received from Italy and decides to accept it in her mother's stead and make it into an Italian getaway to sort her thoughts and look for clarity on what to do with her life. Unbeknownst to Genevieve she arrives at a grand old mansion but does not receive a warm welcome. Still, she stubbornly enters and is magically trapped on the property until the family occupying the grand estate plays their annual game. There is only one to leave. You must win the game. The rest of the players die and go back to hell until the following year to repeat the game all over again.<br/><br/>The prize? The winner has the freedom to go wherever they choose for a full year until they must return to play again. The losers are trapped in hell waiting for the chance to compete the following year. The players are siblings and are also immortal. When they are killed in the game, they don't stay dead, their soul goes back to hell and are reset to wait another year. Now that Genevieve is trapped in her host family's cursed game and is human, if she is killed, she will not come back. <br/><br/>The rude brute who slammed the door in her face Rowin Silver forms a plan that will help them both win the game. If he wins one more time, he will be free from the games forever. This will allow him more time and freedom to find the cure to help his mother who is sick and has been suffering for over a decade. The problem with his plan? All his siblings want a year of freedom as well, and this year's competition has a new twist with Genevieve in the mix. The catch? She has to marry Rowin and pretend they are in love for the plan to work and get an advantage in the game. Spectators and the demon who trapped them in this vicious cycle are watching them and they must put on a good show. If they find out the marriage is a farce, it will not end well for any of them. <br/><br/><b>My soul is your soul<br/>My heart is your heart<br/>My blood is your blood<br/>Eternally...</b><br/><br/><i>What to expect from this book?</i><br/><br/>Forced Marriage<br/>Single POV<br/>Enemies to Lovers<br/>Gothic Romance<br/>Forced Allies<br/>Demons/Hell<br/>Hex<br/>Deadly Game<br/>Familiars<br/>Touch her and Die<br/>One Bed<br/>Spice<br/>Voyeurism<br/>Wraiths<br/>Secrets<br/>Strong Magic<br/><br/>Thoughts on this new release: In many cases, the second book in a series isn't better than the first, but in this case, in my opinion, it is better. The FMC is even sassier than her older sister (who btw makes a brief appearance as well as her beloved in this story). The relationship between the characters is deeper and I feel like the FMC and MMC have more feelings toward each other. The stakes are high, each game is brutal and you never know what is going to happen. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.<br/><br/>I received an audiobook ARC of this book before the book's release in April by NetGalley and Bookouture Audio | Second Sky Books in exchange for an honest review."
"I didn’t like Genevieve very much since she caused most of her problems 😭. The trials in the game weren’t very detailed like the first book since it is just games of hide and seek.
The Silver family was funny and liked them. But, the ending did feel like of rushed and anticlimactic. Overall a 3.7 maybe."
