"Crazy ass story!!!! Omg gave me the chills"

"All right...this book...I liked it overall, and was definitely creeped out, but I have a lot of issues with it. <br/><br/>First, the good: the set-up was creepy and I liked the mystery of having to wait to hear what was in the house. I didn't particularly care for any of the characters one way or another, but at least I didn't really hate any of them hah. <br/><br/>Edwards is really great at setting stuff up...I'm just not sure if I can get behind the reasoning for everything that was going on. I have a lot of questions, and I really hope someone can/wants to talk through this!<br/><br/>1. Edwards, WTF happened to you in Romania? You clearly have no love for the Romanians, and this book may or may not be a hate letter to an ex (or someone from Romania). According to Follow You Home, the Romanian population consists only of thieves, murderers, rapists, liars, kidnappers, drug dealers, corrupt cops, stalkers, and just generally ****** people. Who do you know from there and what did they do to you?? <br/><br/>2. What is happening with this baby selling ****??? Why wouldn't these people go through regular adoption channels? Are babies unavailable there? I NEED MORE BACKGROUND INFO. At first I thought they were for people looking specifically for blonde/blue-eyed/Aryan-looking European babies, but there was never any explanation. <br/><br/>3. Why did Alina say she killed Jake? Or did I totally misread the situation and that's not what she said at all? I kind of wish it just would have ended without us finding out that Laura killed Jake. <br/><br/>4. I wanted what happened in the house to be darker...not that it wasn't dark, but I really thought that it was going to be some Saw/Hostel ****, and it wasn't.<br/><br/>5. Would people really do all of this to get drugs back and keeping weird sex ring baby stealing things a secret? It all seemed a bit much for what actually happened.<br/><br/>SOMEONE HELP ME MAKE SENSE OF THIS WEIRD BOOK!!<br/>"
