LARGE PRINT! Guilty of an indiscretion? Time to marry a werewolf. New York Times bestselling author Gail Carriger brings you a charming stand alone story set in her popular Parasolverse. WEREWOLVES The monsters left Faith ruined in the eyes of society, so now they're her only option. Faith crosses the Atlantic, looking for a marriage of convenience and revenge. But things are done differently in London... Werewolves are civilized. At least they pretend to be. AMERICANS Backward heathens with no culture, Major Channing has never had time for them. But there's something special about Faith. Channing finds himself fighting to defend his species and his honor (what little he has left). But this werewolf has good reason not to trust human women. Even if they learn to love, can either of them forgive? "This intoxicatingly witty parody will appeal to a wide cross-section of romance, fantasy and steampunk fans." ~ Publishers Weekly, starred review (Soulless) Ilona Andrews meets Georgette Heyer in this charming romantic comedy from the author of the Parasol Protectorate books. Look out for appearances from favorite characters and the serious consequences of unwarranted geology. Perfect for fans of Kelly Armstrong, Shelly Laurenston, or Richelle Mead. "4/5 ⭐️ I liked this one so much more than I had remembered! This story has two characters with their own load of emotional baggage but they really did feel so perfect for each other. Both strong individuals, I loved how supportive they were of each other, and I especially loved the people they had around them supporting them (with some notable exceptions). Although the male lead makes some dumb decisions throughout, I still found him endearing, and I love that he got his happy ending, especially in context of the larger series."

"How to Marry a Werewolf is the first in the Claws and Courtship series. Technically this book takes place during the events that happen in the beginning of Reticence however they don't cross over so it can really be read at any time as long as you have read Romancing the Werewolf.

Major Channing, London Pack Gamma, is our repeat character in this book. You might remember him from Changeless as the one Lady Maccon beat with her parasol (well she hit a lot of people with her parasol but not many were pack) Channing has always been brooding and an ass. In this book we dive a little into what makes him that way while he struggles to stay from Miss Faith Wigglesworth. Faith moves to London after some sandal back in America leaving werewolves her only option for marriage, and so she sets her eye on Channing (or is it the other way around?) This one is a hard one to read once we get to the telling of the why's, Channing's back story made me cry and hate vampires a little more. I truly hope that Channing and Faith can heal each other, they have so much potential.

Neither Faith nor Channing are on my list of favorite characters or most hated characters. How ever as you read this book you become more and more invest in finding out they why's of it all. Channing has always been a decent background character but in this book he really shines. By the end I was dying for his back story and boy did I cry. Faith was a great new character to add, the London Pack really needed some feminine attention. I loved that she wasn't just going to fold when it came to Channing and she really turned the tables on him in the hunt, shows strong character (she'll need it to deal with Channing all the time) In the end they are perfect for each other and can work on healing together.

The Claw & Courtship series are each about a different character either in the London Pack or Scottish Pack (I think, its hard to get find definitive answers from Miss Carriger)
Here is a link to Gail Carriger's reading order according to her blog!
https://gailcarriger.com/.../the-definitive-gail.../
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2906179650"
