"Wowie. That was a long two books! Every other book will seem short after (until I get to more Hamilton). It is an excellent series and I highly recommend it to anyone who reads science fiction. That being said, there were a few things I didn't love. The ending was a bit dragged out with all of the action. I really liked the characters but there were just too many because their story arcs were hard to keep up with. Justine didn't get a proper ending and I'm sure a few others that I'll think of later also didn't. One thing that always bothered me was Morton killing his wife. Especially once there were some more covert killings, I expected it to have been carried out by a Starflyer agent to get Melanie involved. Most likely that the SI and the Starflyer were working together and somehow they figured that would bring her into it and they'd be able to use her for their own ends. Still, Hamilton is a MF-ing genius and quality writer. I will read more from him someday."
