"Alright I am going to be as kind as I can possibly be right now. But the sprites?! What in Rainbow Land were you thinking?<br/><br/>I am a fairly hardcore Rainbow Brite nerd from my childhood days, so I know I am coming in this with some expectations. I don't have any problems with the re-imagined origin story. I have no problems with the different look of Rainbow Brite or the color kids. I love the additions of Gloomy, the UV sprite. I rather enjoyed that.<br/><br/>But I draw the line at the super-awkward illustrations of Twink and the other sprites. They are seriously not good. Sprites should be cuddly, not creepy. And Murky... well, that's a whole other point of complaining....<br/><br/>Will I continue reading this series? Of course I will, it's Rainbow Brite after all."
