"There’s something to be said about hockey romance. The camaraderie of the team itself and how they hold each other accountable. The fact that the players are so damn fit a reader can’t help dream/wonder. The author has sucked us in with this one and created a beautiful story that’s messy, heart breaking and hopeful. There are some places where Easton will piss the reader off. But to not do it wouldn’t be as realistic. We live in a society where men are praised for being slaves to their wrong head. It’s about time we focus on using the right one and how the MMC gets there is the challenge we like to read. I received this ARC from the author. This is my honest review. @authorashleycade"
