"It had been awhile since I read volume 1, so decided to get the omnibus to read both. I hated the second volume. The main plot didn't interest me, things got graphic both sexually and violently and neither did much for the story. I feel the strength (and interest for me) of LoEG is the use of famous literary characters. In the first volume I liked meeting this familiar characters in new settings and interacting with other literary characters. I feel the second volume could've done more in that vein but didn't."
"this is the worst effing comic book I’ve ever read. so disgustingly misogynistic, particularly in the first few issues, and I never forgot it. I only finished it bc I really want to meet my reading goal. the amount of times r*pe was played as a JOKE made me sick. I’m convinced the only reason the dick who wrote this made the main character a woman was so he could have everyone make sexist degrading comments to her the whole time, and so he could show her ****.

a cool idea that could’ve been done really well. I think it must have been the movie that I saw being recommended, bc I can’t imagine anyone in 2022 wanting to read this."
