The noble Lion sends the children on a mission to find the lost Prince Rilian, beloved son of Caspian, who was lured away by a mysterious woman ten years ago and has been missing ever since. Together with Puddleglum, the gloomy but valiant Marshwiggle, Eustace and Jill must brave menacing giants and other grave dangers before delving into Underland to save the Prince. "(and I'm not going through this hypothetical kid's books with a damn sharpie. I'm sure someone's written something just as good in the decades since Narnia, which would require way less of the kids they're probably meant for. It might be interesting to talk about them, later on, but CS Lewis' hypothetical "perfect audience" kid is like 5 or 6 right? Yikes, for a fair bit of this series."
