" ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I think this was a rewatch and it holds up pretty well except for a few things of course. Holly Hunter as a confident, accomplished news producer, bursting into tears out of the blue every so often for instance seems silly today. But I guess the thinking was a woman in charge would have do that. Sheesh. It was nice seeing William Hurt in his prime after hearing of his passing. I forgot how talented and handsome he was. And Albert Brooks was nominated for an Oscar for this film. They were all big stars in their day. I enjoyed the nostalgia. "
"I’m not even sure why it’s rated R (maybe bc of the news topics), I love Helen Hunt period & I love how it didn’t end up being one of those romcoms where the career ambitious woman is knocked off her feet by a mediocre man who is “the best she could do”. Also the message still holds up about news being dumbed down & not informative"
"Pretty good "
