"Concept: amazing. Execution: terrible. It only gets the 2nd star because of how much I like the concept. First off, there are WAY TOO MANY characters to keep track of. I didn’t retain anyone’s name because there were essentially 11 (I think) characters that the plot follows around. We don’t need that many characters. It muddles everything. Also, if you’re gonna have a monster, make it a threat. It’s not hunting these people; plot point, but they build it up like a big bad monster at one point (then immediately forget), but the audience is supposed to remember, but then it isn’t a threat. Random stuff happens. We, again, have way too many characters to keep track of. I just wanted to dive deep into the stories of a smaller cast of characters. Half the characters it had would even be ok. This movie just spreads itself too thin. It takes a cool concept by jumps around in so many directions and with so many characters that it doesn’t even know what it’s doing. Ending is also extremely abrupt. And then, there’s another scene which also ends abruptly; but I’ll take the first up abrupt ending over the second one"
