"Watched I STILL BELIEVE mainly for Shania Twain (small role!) & Gary Sinise, who—along with KJ Apa—gave truly sincere performances. KJ Apa (Riverdale) plays Jeremy Camp, a real-life young singer-songwriter chasing his dreams at a small Bible college in #SoCal. It’s a story of #younglove, #faith, and #music—best experienced going in blind, or knowing very little (as I did). The music is moving, the story sweet. "I’m neutral on this film, I watched for a romantic, heart-warming film but it wasn’t my favorite. It was an evangelical story which I have no opposition towards, just not my type. It was kind of like the fault in our stars but not. 🤣 I felt like when she died he patched up and ‘replaced’ her with someone else, I don’t think he fell for her like he did with his first wife. I didn’t really like how I felt with the ending. I also watched the film when it came out. "
