Finney Blake, a shy but clever 13-year-old boy, is abducted by a sadistic killer and trapped in a soundproof basement where screaming is of little use. When a disconnected phone on the wall begins to ring, Finney discovers that he can hear the voices of the killer’s previous victims. And they are dead set on making sure that what happened to them doesn’t happen to Finney.

"2.5 stars, but rounding down for this app.
I’m honestly baffled by this film. It’s like the film was initially made for afternoon television, but then altered with some violence/blood and cuss words to make it “adult”.
And, I just saw there’s a sequel to this coming out in the future..? Why??
I wanted to see this for a while and finally found it available to stream on Peacock. What a letdown! lol"
"Watched this movie a second time, Creepy and alluring. Impressed with how much structure is put into the theme and characters. For example the sister is psychic and gets it from her mom, takes time to give its own scenes for some of the missing boys. I’m interested to know more about the grabbers story though, even a prequel would be auspicious!"
"I actually found this scary, movies dont ever really make me feel scared. Idk what it was abt it, but something about the realistic kidnapping, 70s era, mixed with his sister and himself seeing visions of it. I liked how it want cringey and possibly believable? Unlike other things. I'm also glad this horror wasn't straight up demonic with things like spells and all that other crap, they actually had a story, and a bit about each of rhe kidnappers victims... definitely recommend!!"
