Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans

"So, let me just clarify, I did enjoy this. The animation went up tenfold, the story was intense, characters became deeper than ever, the climax was amazing, and it brought the shows together into one. However, that ending felt like a rehash of a certain episode in Trollhunters season 2. Considering how that episode ended doesn't spell well for what happens next. I won't spoil it, but this movie missed out on an emotional heartfelt ending if they had just changed a few things. Now if you're wanting to watch this but didn't watch one of the shows, you might be screwed. You really must watch Trollhunters all the way through. You can get by with just the first episode of Ebelow. Then you actually have to watch all 10 episodes of Wizards. Considering I tried to skip wizards and watch this I can tell you, you're gonna be completely lost if you try it too. Still, the only show you can really skip is Ebelow. You might be a little confused but you get th3 gist. Alien prince and princess of a high tech planet. One lives on Earth, the other is the ideal of "modern female empowerment" and honestly sucks. Now to the story here. I'm not kidding when I say it's intense. The only real note I have is including the world's reaction way better and smoother. I thought it be an incredible aspect that they completely missed out on. It's touched on but not used to its full potential. Other than that, the characters are great. You'll love their interactions (well some) and enjoy the exploration of then all truly coming together. There's so much to unpack here and not enough characters, but it is a great continuation to all 3 series (even Ebelow). Overall, a very intense movie to end off 3 series. It does work well in combining them, but it doesn't have the strength and fortitude to see it through. Some things come off wrong and others work exceptionally well. Not everything's a happy ending, but just like the shows it's based off of, this one is full of happy beginnings."

"Loved everything but the end. How they concluded this movie made everything that has ever happened in this universe, character development, hardships, everything completely and utterly pointless. There was nothing gained from this movie and they should have left it where it was and let us come up with out own conclusion instead of ruining everything. There was a much better solution to the ending problem but what they did messes up everything. "
