"I listen to this series - hour upon hour of it - while exercising. Initially I listened to make my exercise more interesting, but soon recognized the show’s a bit of a marvel. Each show is good, some are exceptional, like the 5-hour+ examination of the Jacob Hoggard of Hedley fame case. The narrator and writer uses an exhaustive approach leaving no stone unturned. She’s likeable, even her (Australian) voice is likeable. She’s informed. She’s dedicated. All in all, this series is a winner in the true crime category. Highly recommended.. "

"The host is great. The history of Canada is mingled in with the stories. Victims are not just brushed aside for the sake of the killers or criminals. Police are not glorified. Very true to detail. Not short episodes but well worth the time. Highly recommend."
