"so, i've only listened to season 3 so far (because i was only two blocks away from andrew kinsman being murdered that night), but i can tell this podcast is meticulous, empathetic, and well-researched. it was fascinating to go into the historical exploration of toronto through a queer lens, and how next-to-useless the police were/are. it's no wonder marginalized communities have to come up with their own policing units since they know the police system is unreliable at best, and murderous at worst.
i started crying at work listening to episode 9, with the discussions of how much this community of sex workers love each other, and the fair michigan project."
