"This series is a hidden gem, hiding out on MGM+. It tells the story of Ish (Alexander Ludwig) after surviving a venomous snake bite, awakens to find the world's population has been decimated by a fast moving pandemic. Completely alone at first, the story begins bleakly and moves slowly. But as time goes on, he realizes that he is not alone, and there are survivors. He finds Emma (Jessica Frances Dukes) and they build a life together, starting a family of their own. This 6 episode series spans decades and the cast grows as they come into contact with more survivors, struggling to persevere through an assortment of trials and tribulations. No Zombies or anything, just trying to live after everything that we had built as a society in the world is gone. At times, it hits you "right in the feels". Also, some amazing cinematography of our beautiful world left untouched by humanity. A quick binge that I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend. 8.5/10 "
