When her engagement to the prince ends unceremoniously, details of the young noblewoman Aileen's past life come rushing back and help her realize she's living inside the world of one of her favorite otome games—as the heroine's greatest rival! However, her memory has more plot holes than bad fan fiction…and the only certainty is that if she doesn't do something quick, her death is all but assured. The hero/main-love-interest can't be relied on, so why not see what the last boss has to say?

"Honestly, in a sea lately of this trope getting a show, I actually enjoyed this. I legit watched two other shows with basically the exact same summary, but this was actually good.
The only true fault I have with this show, and it is a rather obvious one that you won't notice until you do & it can't be overcome. Which is that it's incredibly rushed. No joke, the 1st season is about 3 seasons smashed into 1 of just 12 episodes. And you very well notice. Everything goes by so fast. You definitely feel like you're missing vital scenes and/or episodes entirely. And that doesn't go away the more you watch it. In fact, it gets worse as the time goes past. They even show 2 second clips of moments that could've been their own scene and enjoyed. But nope, they just rush everything they can.
But why I enjoy it. The other shows with this exact premise didn't entertain me like this one did. I did find this show a bit on the annoying side at times, but I never stopped watching it and enjoyed each moment.
The main character can be hard to understand & doesn't seem like an isekai character (mostly due to the rushing of her own character development), but she grows on you. Most importantly, the world & main guy intrigue you for some reason. His character has a presence, and I never can predict what he'll say or do. It's in a good way, I swear.
As for the other side characters. I found them fun and not overbearing. It's also so nice when they find love, not with the main character. I hate when that doesn't happen as it feels fake and unrealistic.
Then there's the animals. They were absolutely adorable, and the connection they grew with others made them fun. I especially love almond and think he's just hilarious. It made me enjoy seeing them.
Overall, definitely worth a watch even though whoever directed and wrote the actual show version sucks. Part of me thought the rushed story was interesting, but can we get more? So much feels like it's missing even when watching it play out."
