Ironheart

"I was hopeful that this series would be an extension of the RiRi Williams/Ironheart that was introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but what we get is a totally unlikeable character. In fact, most of the characters in this series were unlikeable. I also didn't like that Marvel went with a Tech vs Magic storyline. It doesn't work IMO. I did like that Sacha Baron Cohen played Mephisto, but the character felt out of place in the story. There were more references to Dr. Strange and the Magical portion of the MCU, than there were about Tony Stark because they were trying to merge the two, but it just felt wrong. I had higher expectations for this series so I'm ultimately disappointed. 6/10"

"I really liked this. Got better as it went, kept me engaged and binging. Dominique Thorne in the title role is terrific. Better FX than most movies. Probably why it’s only six episodes. "

"As someone that pretty much watches all marvel content and pretty much likes most of it, there were parts of this show that just came across as really unbelievable and I’m not talking about the sci-fi or magical aspects of the show. I really wanted to like this show much more than I did but the writing choices, dialogue, some of the acting and the direction they chose for the main character to go in, in many cases made this show feel like it was missing so many more elements that could’ve made this show absolutely great. I mean you know it’s bad when it’s basically a show about a young stark prodigy and stark tech but I end up looking more forward to the magic users in the show because those characters and their arc seemed better written as opposed to the main character and the other supporting characters. It overall just reminded me of just how good of a show Agatha was in comparison to this show. "
