"bat s—t crazy, obsessive, vindictive, a bit over the top drama/thriller. I understand the reason behind why these characters are psychologically disturbed yet mama’s boy was the most annoying LOL"

"Boy, these two women are bat **** crazy! Laura (Robin Wright), Daniel’s mother, seemed to have a weird obsession with him, actually kind of really creepy. The way her and Cherry went after each other was absolutely ridiculous. Both of them need help! It was interesting to see how they showed each of their perception of events that happened. I did not care for ending, why was that necessary? It didn’t make any sense or reason for that to happen. "
"Olivia Cooke is one of those actors I don’t care much for. Ever since I saw her on the Bates Motel - one of the best shows ever, except her vibe was off for me. This time the vibe is somewhat similar, but it lands perfectly as a <spoiler alert> Psycho version of Pretty Woman, who is needy and stalkery. Robin Wright is excellent as a possessive Mom, who is spiraling from a classy mama bear to a paranoid wacko. The plot is not flawless especially the end but it still makes for an enthralling ride."
"Robin acted the sh*t out of her role. It was engaging enough and had some interesting juxtapositions between Cherry and Laura till you basically realized they are, in fact, equally unstable, controlling, and willing to hurt Daniel just to punish each other. However, the end was disappointing and I’m still trying to process why exactly. I guess because at first I just liked that the show was focusing on perceptions and how everyone had their own reality…by the end it was just like “who will escalate even more ridiculously!” Also, the popular TikTok songs soundtrack significantly cheapened the whole thing. Still, I was obviously entertained enough to watch to the end. "
