"This series is like the thriller version of The summer I turned pretty. The family and the endless unanswered questions can be annoying at times but everything is answered in the end. I really enjoyed it once I got into it but spoiler alert the ending is a serious gut punch that will stick with you."

"Went into this thinking it would be a frothy teenage drama but it was actually really good. A girl wakes up on the beach with no memory of what happens and her very rich, very patriarchal family won’t tell her what happened. Through flashbacks she begins to figure it out. You’ll really want to punch the grandfather, her mother and aunts. They are extremely insufferable. I discovered it’s a book so I’ll be reading it too. Overall, really good. I was shocked by the twist!"

"To say I didn’t see that coming was an understatement, wow, great show! The last ep was pretty emotional. I think the young actors did a great job and well as the rest of the cast especially the mothers (sisters) playing entitled snobs. The way they treated each other and fought over money was insane. Def worth a watch! "

"Going to give my full review once I finish all the episodes, but initial thoughts: acting is ok, scenery is pretty and the characters are pretty accurate to the books. I’m waiting for the plot twist to happen to see if this series was worth the watch. EDIT: NOT THE FREAKIN DOGS 😭 forgot about that part lol. Anyway, yeah - my rating is the same. The characters are accurate to the books for sure, and they kept things pretty true to the book which I appreciated. All in all, a great bingeworthy series!"

"I thought it was good for what it is. Tragic melodrama for teenagers and probably their parents. Music was mostly annoying to me, but again I am not the target audience. I did like all the young actors and the way the story was told. Beautifully filmed. (06/25/25)"
