"I ship the **** out of Daisy & Ryke and have been waiting for this to go down since everyone went to Cancun for spring break in Addicted For Now. Itch, scratched.

I loved this book just as much as I thought I would. I just can’t get enough of this insanely ****** up, yet deeply loving family dynamic. Jonathan Hale was finally humanized closer to the end of this one. About time. He took a huge step towards repairing his relationship with Ryke, and I look forward to seeing the outcome his actions."
"Omg 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌶🌶🌶🌶 ok. I REALLY liked this book. I listened to the audio book, warning: there is A.LOT. Of swearing and it is pretty spicy starting half way ish. But. I REALLY liked Ryke & Daisy.. he is an alpha with a protective streak. She is the wild child. Anyway. I totally recommend!"
"Oh my gosh, "Hothouse Flower" is such a rollercoaster of emotions and I loved every second of it! Krista and Becca Ritchie have done it again with another addictive and heart-pounding story.

"Hothouse Flower" is the fifth book of the Addicted Series, which follows the tumultuous lives and relationship between Lily Calloway and Loren Hale.

This time, we’re diving into the wild and complicated lives of Daisy Calloway and Ryke Meadows. Daisy is this adventurous, free-spirited model who's trying to break free from the constraints of the industry and her overly involved mother. Ryke is the tough, no-nonsense guy who’s always been there for her, even when no one else was. Together this unpredictable pair works through past trauma all while traveling abroad and across the country.

Daisy and Ryke are such a fantastic pair. Daisy’s zest for life and Ryke’s rugged, protective nature create a dynamic that’s both thrilling and heartwarming. Their chemistry is undeniable, and you can’t help but root for them as they navigate their complicated feelings and the obstacles in their way.

The supporting cast, especially the Calloway sisters and their partners, add so much depth and richness to the story. Fan favorites, Lily and Lo, and newly matched Rose and Connor, join the spirited duo as they navigate new terrain, both literally and within their relationship.

Krista and Becca Ritchie have this amazing ability to create characters that feel like real people. The writing is incredibly engaging, with dialogue that’s snappy and genuine. The alternating perspectives between Daisy and Ryke give us a full view of their relationship and individual struggles, making the book hard to put down.

The book touches on themes of freedom, self-discovery, and the challenges of stepping out of your comfort zone. Sexual assault and PTSD are two subjects that are touched on specifically, two themes that may be distressing to some readers. It also explores the idea of love as a journey where both people learn and grow together.

"Hothouse Flower" is a must-read for fans of contemporary romance and new adult fiction. It’s a story that will make you laugh, swoon, and maybe even shed a tear or two. Whether you’re new to the Addicted/Calloway Sisters series or already a fan, this book is sure to captivate you from start to finish."

"3.8 stars
Not gonna lie, I skimmed some parts of this book. And I think the whole underage thing definitely turned me off from being super invested, but I really do love Ryle and Daisy, though I can’t say I care about them being together the same way I do for Lily and Loren. The same for Connor and Rose. I’m definitely not as emotionally invested for those couples. Also, Connor and Rose were a little insufferable in the book, unfortunately. Anyway, I think I’ll end the series here, because pregnancy and babies really doesn’t interest me. Plus I can see a lot of the mess being resolved somehow, so it’s not like I’m burning to know how it’ll happen. All in all this is a really character driven series, and the bond these six all share has been really incredible to read about"
"This was a ride, for sure. I still don't like Ryke. Have I come to appreciate him? Yes. Do I like him? No. Daisy Calloway on the other hand. I love her! In the beginning, she was kinda eh to me considering she wasn't seen much, but now..I saw how strong & courageous she was. When she described what her friends did to her..my heart literally broke for her. She definitely deserved better. I don't like Raisy..and I most likely never will, so yeah there's that. It wasn't the best book at all, but there were some good parts tbf. Honestly, the only people who made this book bearable for me was Daisy, Lilo & Connor & Rose. So..yeah there's that."
