"This book is so cute! You gotta love Pete the cat! This book is so funny and I believe it had likes rhymes and stuff that repeats and it’s just really cute!

Updating again on 8/10

My dog has been dealing with a lung tumor and a really bad cough. I am trying to spend as much time with her before she gets called into Gods arms. I am praying for atleast another year or two but it’s most likely atleast a year. I am seriously heartbroken because she is my best friend. She has been my buddy since I was atleast 2. I’m 14 now and hope I can see my 15th birthday with her. I love her and she deserves better, this tumor isn’t fair. Otherwise my dog is honestly happy. She loves to be outside and play, she still loves food, still wants attention, loves everybody she sees, the cat is even her buddy now. My girl may not be able to run, may not be able to move as quick, and may not be able to respond and interact when her cough takes over. But otherwise.. she is one of the happiest dogs I have ever met. And she was a rescue from an abusive family.

I added that message because I wanted to say that I am grateful for little things. I am grateful for these books given. Trying to spend time with my dog means even if I can say hi to her. Any little attention and company I think gives her lungs more strength each day.

Tonight, I decided to read a few books to my dog. And I did because she was getting sleepy and I wanted to give her some company. I read this book to her and I could tell she was very happy. She smiled, even looked as if she was laughing, and I could tell she loved the company of a book.

“The moral of Pete’s story is: no matter what you step in, keep walking along and singing your song……”

My dog stepped into a hard year with developing a tumor. But she keeps walking along and continues to share her smile and happy personality with the world each day! ❤️"
