"The Crossover is the story of a twin who is the son of a retired pro basketball player. He is the epitome of the saying "Ball is life." The story follows Josh as he learns what it really means to grow up. <br/>When I first saw this book, I did not think I would like it. I am not a big fan of sportsbooks. But I decided to read it anyway, and it tore my heart surprisingly great! The main characters are all interesting and have distinct voices and characterizations. It explores the themes of growing up, loss, and family. Overall it was a heartwrenching and thought-provoking story. It is also written in prose that makes it a quick and easy read for those who love to read and those who do not. (I got my husband to read it and he's only read like maybe 2 books so...)"
