Not only because he claims to be her mother's murderer from years ago, but because Poe knows something no one else does. Her mother's murderer is dead.Poe killed him. From the USA Today bestselling author of The Dead Girl in 2A and The New Neighbor comes a chilling new thriller that forces the question: are murderers always the bad guys?

"Dear Carter Wilson, what a wonderful well written story with well developed characters. Your writing is impressive and had me hooked from beginning to end.
You have a new fan!!

My Opinion- The Audiobook review: Theres not really a review I can write that will do this justice or make you want to read this book. I can tell you the characters are well structured. But that doesn’t cut it. The story and plot are superb.. but that doesn’t cut it either.
The Mystery will hook you. The twist.. I never guessed. Very likeable characters. Very mysterious characters as well.
And now for the Narration: I loved Allyson Ryan and
Patrick Zeller for narrators! I could listen to these two all day for every book!
This is in the top 5 favorites books I’ve read/listened to so far."
"Very good plot twist, and different from most other thrillers. I struggled to stay focused on it, but it was definitely worth the read. It wrapped up a little too fast for my liking after the big “boom” of the story if you will. Worth the read, I’d recommend to those who enjoy thrillers"
"Honestly such a boring book. Intriguing enough concept to keep me reading but there were literally 0 surprises - such a predictable ending and made the story that much more terrible.
The character development felt weird between Poe & her father just casually being alcoholics together and I saw no character growth in anyone. Literally a terrible waste of 400 pages.
ALSO the QR codes were incredibly disturbing - why in the world would I want to see a young girl reading the weird paragraphs from the ending of chapters? Didn’t add anything to the book but made it even worse. "
