"I am genuinely in love with this book. Everything about it was completely perfect. The characters had such amazing chemistry and the balance of supporting characters to main characters was fantastic. I was cheering the entire time for Lizzy and Jack and was so happy that their story reflected that of two 30-year olds. They felt like real mature characters who had their live together and had just been waiting for each other the entire time. "

"3/5 ⭐️ This was a cute read! Nothing life changing but a sweet childhood friends to lovers story with one of the leads secretly pining over the other (also technically a small town romance but didn’t give too many of those vibes). I thoroughly enjoyed the friendship between the two leads - they had so much love for each other and the pining one never felt entitled to the other’s romantic feelings (which is such a pet peeve of mine). However, not everything worked for me. The writing felt a bit overly descriptive at times over random things which took me out of it a bit. Also, the characters each had their moments being incredibly dumb."
