The Tender Years

"I absolutely love the Love Comes Softly series so was excited to read this. Sad to say it completely let me down. The new characters are annoying and the old beloved characters are just talked about in passing. Another annoying thing was, when big events were about to happen I was expecting something to be said about them, like her sister’s wedding day, which was lead up to. But when we get to any big event that has been talked about it is skipped over and we continue onto everyday life. There is a bit of a mystery in this one, which is what kept me reading to find out who done it. The ending seemed very rushed and who done it was someone barely mentioned so it seemed like the author just picked someone. Very disappointing :("
