"I was reading this book in 2024, and enjoying it, until it i got to end of the book where they have this sentence which is President of the United States Katherine Walker was sitting in the Oval Office of the West Wing with two foreign ambassadors. It took me out of the story a little bit because I was imagining it as taking place in the same time period that I was reading it in and We haven't had a Female president, my guess to why Chris Colfer made the President female (other than to surprise people) would be because he was hoping Hilary Clinton would when the 2016 Election."

"Ok so I’m sure your wondering why I gave a 4. Well I’ll tell you

So yes, I love this series of course. I just felt like the chapters went on too long. Yes I know, he was just making the chapters into creating an army. But I feel 4-5 different chapters was 1 story and it didn’t really switch.

I felt when Alex and Connor were gathering the pirates it just lingered forever. Like it took so many chapters for the main part. I’m not saying I hated the chapters I just felt it lingered to long. I mean the chapters were interesting because it was funny how Connor was trying to convince the pirates he’s the author. I just felt it took a bit too long for the pirates to actually be recruited and stuff.

Otherwise I spent long periods of time reading this book because it was super interesting how the author Chris decided to add non known characters into this book. I can’t wait to read the last book! I can’t believe the words “last book” this series is awesome!

But yes I recommend this book 100%!

“You see, this is why I’m not close to my own relatives!” Red said. “Families are nuts! They give you life, then you’re lucky if you survive them.” - red riding hood

I agree with that quote because I have had many family struggles and I think that is partly true to my life."
""An Author's Odyssey" by Chris Colfer follows the twins as they go to Conners stories to defeat the Masked Man.

I would give "An Author's Odyssey" by Chris Colfer because, 1; I love how this book talks about Conners stories in more detail 2; I love all the action and 3; this book was so hilarious."
