"<strong>Wow</strong><br/><br/>Its absolutely disgusting that police will simply look the other way and ignore accusations made against an Amish person because its "their religion" since when is it someone's religion to rape, molest, kill, or abuse a person? Police who ignore this stuff should be fired."
"An eye-opening memoir. It is so sad how religion can be used to cover up abuse and neglect. It is easy to "judge a book by its cover" so to say, and I think this book can help everyone get out of that mindset. Look for the signs of abuse and speak-up, even if it means "authority" will be admonished."
