"I mean it wasn’t good but it also wasn’t the WORST. Most of the characters that were set up to be villains ended up becoming either boring side characters with no plot at the end or were randomly forgiven ?? The writing quality dipped at the spicy scenes and up until the first spicy scene (~half way into) I was convinced this was YA. There was essentially no final battle and the main character didn’t actually end up fighting the real villain????? The only action in this book was Raith fighting his inner demons for like five seconds twice. The timeline didn’t make sense to me but it was a quick and easy read"
"Was between 2 and 3 stars, but decided to round down. I wasn’t a fan of most of the book. I really liked the concept, just the delivery missed the mark for me.
The characters seemed childlike despite how old they were supposed to be. The **** scenes just weren’t it for me either. They seemed kind of thrown in there. "

"I really tried, i gave it 65 pages. The writing is horrible, truly. It’s the epitome of telling, not showing. “he shook the cookie at her, reminding her to take it.” yeah i can infer that, thanks. you dont have to explain every action. this one is about as exciting as cardboard. this really read more as a self indulgent fanfic you would find on ao3 and hype up because at least its better than other fanfics. but theres no background character you already have all the information about you can supplement into a role, theres no lore! no personality! this person is x they do x and thats it. 65 pages and i dont think i can name more than three things that have happened"
