"While this book has a lot of interesting pointers on how to "get more" in your day to day life, I was often put off by the author's tone. It came off as boastful. In my head, I was thinking, only someone who is as...uh...confident as Mr. Diamond will get anywhere with some of these tactics. I'm a little more timid, and preferred Deborah Kolb and Judith William's "Everyday Negotiation", which discusses important processes in negotiation--not just the hard and fast results.<br/><br/>I did enjoy Diamond's breakdown of public negotiations in the latter part of the book. It was some interesting food for thought if you enjoy following public process."
