"3.5/5 ⭐️ I thought this one was fun and cute. I love a marriage of convenience trope and this book paired it with friends with benefits to lovers. I also loved that there was a male lead that didn’t have a six pack. I enjoyed the genuine friendship that grew between the two and thought the emphasis on each of their individual family issues was interesting but not all of it worked for me. I do wish the book had developed the romantic relationship between the two more. I liked the third act breakup and thought it made sense for the characters. I don’t know if I needed the parts after with them getting back together. It felt a bit too sudden like it came out of nowhere."
