The unmissable finale to New York Times bestselling YA fantasy series THE GILDED ONES, set in an ancient West African-inspired world and perfect for fans of CHILDREN OF BLOOD AND BONE and BLACK PANTHER. Deka is a goddess-in-waiting with the potential to save her people from the brutal ancient goddesses who terrorize her kingdom of Otera. But first she must find her celestial essence - and if the Gilded Ones find it before she does, they will drain her power and tear Otera apart. Alongside her army of friends, Deka faces the hardest battle of her life - not just with the goddesses but with her own doubts. What if becoming a goddess makes her as evil as the Gilded Ones? And is she ready to leave her earthly life and loves behind? THE ETERNAL ONES is the final thrilling installment of the epic fantasy series in which a young heroine fights against a world that would dare tame her. "5 out of 5 freaking stars!! Did not disappoint!! First two were 5/5 and this one is as well!! I was worried about the ending because I didn’t know if it would be satisfying, but it was so good and beautiful, and sad at the same time, but it felt right. "

"What an amazing ending to this series. It was one of the first books I read when I acquired this hobby and they all have been a four star. Deka is a representation that "what kills you, makes you stronger". She endured so much suffering through all three books that at one point it was devastating but it made her the person she is today which i'm very proud of. Brita still makes me laugh with her accent but what a best friend that she is. Keita is still amazing we get to lean more about him in the books which I LOVE! White Hands still is a badass woman. All the rest of the friend group are amazing people, developed so much during this story. The writing style is so easy to read that time goes very fast. It is entertaining all the way. It was an amazing ending for this series. Still love all the characters and reading their development during the war mas one of my favorite things. I have nothing but love for this series, i'm so sad this journey has come to an end but im also grateful for giving me this characters and the magical world that Otera is."
