"I don't understand how Shannon constantly writes amazing books. I loved re-reading this book, although I did get annoyed with all the Sophitz moments, but thats only because I ship Sokeefe. I binged so much of this book because I'm trying to get to reading Stellarlune ASAP. Only the novella to go! Anyways, of course I can't end this review without Keefe quotes:

"Team Foster-Keefe is going to crush this." (Of course they are)

"I'm always here." (This is so freaking sweet of Keefe)

"Just like I'm pretty sure you're gonna have to get used to me calling you the Lovely Lady F." (I just like how Keefe is calling Sophie lovely)

"And I gotta say, you look awfully cute in a crown." (Sadly, Sophie is still oblivious to the OBVIOUS flirting)

"Biscuit to ease the pain." (First of all he called them biscuits, unlike Fitz who called them cookies which ummmm, their British Fitz so say biscuits. Second of all this made me laugh a little)

"I'm never stuck with you, Foster. Someday I'm going to make you see that." (Awww)

"I'm... really glad I met you, Sophie.""
"I really loved this book and it was definitely worth waiting for (best Christmas present ever!). I didn’t even realize how much I read until I found out I was one hundred pages away from where I started- and that kept happening again and again. I loved the tension and how there were so many problems going on at once, and the author juggled it all really well. Amazing book!"

"This series hold a special place in my heart. It was one of the first fantasy series I read. I have been with Nathan Stoneblood from the beginning.

This series is so well written, has wonderful side characters. The world that Robyn Wideman describes to us, makes you feel as if you are there.

This is the last book in Nathan’s story. But, thankfully it’s not the last we will be seeing of him. He will be popping up in other stories.

This is an epic fantasy adventure, with a bit of romance, lots of fierce warriors, forever friendships, bonds that will last forever!"

"I couldn't wait to read this book and I was not disappointed. It was great to see the next generation of Marcello's taking their place. Antony was hilarious at times. She keeps us updated on the first generation also. Great book great writer. Can't wait for the next book."

"This is such an action-packed book with a fantastic story that just makes you want to read non-stop and leaves you asking for more. The character development throughout this series is absolutely amazing as you see people go from friends to enemies and enemies to friends. Sophie, the main character receives help from Bronte, a member of the Council, who seemed to hate her for the first half of the series saying, “She knew she was having a strange day when ending up in Bronte’s arms wasn’t even the weirdest thing that had happened”. This book shows Sophie move on from trying to fit into societal expectations to doing what she wants and believes is right with the support of her friends and family, especially when considering her bad match with Fitz saying, “anyone who was part of a bad match faced scorn for the rest of their lives”. It shows the characters mature and become more responsible and aware of their actions and the consequences of what they do, how they go from doing what they want without much thought and planning to actually sitting down and having meetings and planning with not only their friends and family but also the Black Swan asking them, “does this mean you have a plan?” showing that they are waiting for the Black Swans help and plan. I have really enjoyed this book for its amazing story and character development and I am looking forward to the next book in this series. And for those who haven’t read this book or series, I believe you should give it a try especially if you like fantasy books with action, powers, and a fantastic story.
"
