"This was different, parts were pretty shocking, when reading part 2 I didn't see any of that coming for that character. Also, Fig is amazingly unlikable. This is one of the only books where I didn't really like any of the main characters but Fig sort of made me feel...uncomfortable? There's this very real creepy feeling when reading her inner thoughts. "
"I really wanted to like this book! This was my #1 TBR going into the spooky thriller month of October! I am deeply disappointed! The first 3rd of the book had me rolling! I love Fig and she honestly had me questioning “am I a psychopath” I loved her internal dialog!!! But honestly it went down hill from there for me. I love Tarryn Fisher’s writing and story telling capabilities which is honestly the only reason I gave this 3 stars instead of 1 or 2. Without giving anything away I have to say that I kept waiting for a big something that never happened:( and I am left blah!"
