A Novel in The Tav seriesDavo's a pretty average guy. He has a decent job, owns his own home, and spends his weekends at the pub. He fully accepts that he's gay, but doesn't want to be one of those gays who are girly. He likes football and other masculine pursuits, and firmly avoids anything that could be seen as femme--including relationships that last beyond fifteen minutes. Then Davo's friend and gay idol not only gets a boyfriend, but also adopts a baby girl. Davo is seriously spooked and scuttles down to the pub. That's where he meets Lee, cute from her cherry-red hair to her pretty little dress and pointy red shoes. Davo is charmed--but how is that possible? He's gay. Isn't he? Then Lee tells him he's actually a guy--he just likes to wear women's dresses occasionally. Thoroughly confused about an attraction that's out of character for him, Davo begins the long journey to where he can accept himself without caring what everyone else thinks.

"<strong>Spoilers ahead</strong><br/><br/>As i started this book is thought I was really gonna like it. Unfortunately I liked it less and less as it went on until finally I was ecstatic when it was over. I'm convinced this author has never met a man or at the very least has never seen a group of men interact with each other. I am not exaggerating when I say that Graham is the most pathetic man every written. He cries non stop. Not even cries, literally sobs. At one point he's in the fetal position sobbing. Multiple times people have to bring him tissues. I can't stand the toxic alpha males so prevalent in the books but Graham was an embarrassing beta male. I have no idea who he was supposed to appeal to. I just kept laughing at how ridiculously emotional he was. Lacey was better but only a little. The kicker is that she didn't actually love Graham. She chose to leave him ( I don't blame her) and only settled for Graham because her move to Hollywood didn't work out. Between all the brothers having repeated conversations where they discuss their feelings in a way no men do, the ridiculous reaction Graham has to finding out about Lacey's miscarriage, and absurdly wise deceased father and a lottery jackpot that adds nothing to this story I can't remember the last time I struggled so much to finish a book."

"This book had me twisted up, but in the best possible way. The Fox family is so relatable, and the way they love and support each other, and the banter between them, is priceless. This was so much more than simply a romance...it was a journey of pain, healing, and second chances. Get the Kleenex and give yourself some uninterrupted time to read--you won't want to put it down!"
