The first in the Half-Moon Hollow series is “wry, delicious fun” (Susan Andersen, New York Times bestselling author) as it follows a librarian whose life is turned upside down by a tempestuous and sexy vampire.Maybe it was the Shenanigans gift certificate that put her over the edge. When children’s librarian and self-professed nice girl Jane Jameson is fired by her beastly boss and handed twenty-five dollars in potato skins instead of a severance check, she goes on a bender that’s sure to become Half Moon Hollow legend. On her way home, she’s mistaken for a deer, shot, and left for dead. And thanks to the mysterious stranger she met while chugging neon-colored cocktails, she wakes up with a decidedly unladylike thirst for blood. Jane is now the latest recipient of a gift basket from the Newly Undead Welcoming Committee, and her life-after-lifestyle is taking some getting used to. Her recently deceased favorite aunt is now her ghostly roommate. She has to fake breathing and endure daytime hours to avoid coming out of the coffin to her family. She’s forced to forgo her favorite down-home Southern cooking for bags of O negative. Her relationship with her sexy, mercurial vampire sire keeps running hot and cold. And if all that wasn’t enough, it looks like someone in Half Moon Hollow is trying to frame her for a series of vampire murders. What’s a nice undead girl to do?

"Nice Girls Don’t Have Fangs by Molly Harper *****/*****
#AudibleCredit #Reviews

Triggers:
Tropes: Vampire

Molly Harper is one of my all time favorite authors! I have read every single book she has ever written including her paranormal romances, contemporary romances and YA series. She is spectacular at writing hilarious stories that include pop culture references, literary references and some of the most ridiculous situations. Molly Harper just has a way of making you fall in love with everything in her worlds. I also super love the book quotes at the beginning of every chapter.

One of the best things about Molly Harper's writing is her characters, Jane and Gabriel are pretty great, especially Jane. Gabriel can be annoying at times but mostly his annoying ness isn't until about book 3 in this series. But Molly Harper’s best characters are her side characters, Dick is by far her best in this series. I honestly love everything about Dick and Love that he gets his own book in the Half Moon Hollows spin off series.

Half Moon Hollow is hilariously written and I love the outlandish way that vampires came out to the public, how very American lol. I love that while this world includes supernaturals, it's not all doom and gloom/ or post- apocalyptic. Overall very well done, I will continue to reread and enjoy every book ever written by Molly Harper, especially the ones she gets Amanda Ronconi to narrate.

Ebook: https://www.amazon.com/Nice-Girls-Dont-Fangs-Jameson-ebook/dp/B001ULOPRW/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=nice+girls+dont+date+dead+men&qid=1633512242&s=digital-text&sr=1-2
Audiobook: https://www.audible.com/pd/Nice-Girls-Dont-Have-Fangs-Audiobook/B00391ZSS6?qid=1633512253&sr=1-4&ref=a_search_c3_lProduct_1_4&pf_rd_p=83218cca-c308-412f-bfcf-90198b687a2f&pf_rd_r=EN2Y1X14VT6G9D2APKQ2
Author’s Website: https://www.mollyharper.com/
Goodreads:"
