"Definitely a great way to spend the day at the beach! However I recommend refreshing your memory from the first book. Somehow I found myself thinking about a Frieda Mc Fadden book ( I won’t spoil it, but I’m sure I read them within months of one another) . I like Liv Constantine’s writing and thoroughly enjoyed reading this book as well as The Senator’s Wife."

"Wowwwwww, okay maybe the prequel wasn't so unnecessary after all... can't tell yet if they will stretch this story to another book as Daphne, Daisy Ann, Amber and Jackson were all pretty tied up in a bow. Unless Jackson miraculously is cured or those guys don't beat amber to a pulp...

Also I know who will play these characters in the movie."
"Coming back to the drama and intrigue of the Parrish family was something I didn't know I needed. While reading this book I cried, I yelled, and I breathed a sigh of relief.

After finally getting out of her abusive marriage Daphne has moved with her two daughters across the country to California. But when her daughter runs away to go see her ex-husband, Jackson, she is forced to make a trip back to Bishops Harbor for supervised visits with him. While there, Jackson tries to convince Daphne that the time he spent in jail for tax evasion has changed him. In the meantime, Jackson's new wife Amber is working on her exit from her marriage and Bishops Harbor. Now that she has money she's looking forward to the future she has as a wealthy independent woman. However, when a new person joins the fold that happens to be from Amber's past and one of her enemies her plans are starting to unravel. Soon everyone is entangled in each others lives.

The Last Mrs. Parrish blew my mind when I read it years ago. When I heard that Liv Constantine was coming out with a sequel I re-read it and it held up. The twists and turn of that book are *chef's kiss* and The Next Mrs. Parrish did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the addition of the new character and how it added another layer of intrigue and drama. The interchanging narration between Daphne, Amber, and the newest character, Daisy Ann, keeps the plot moving and you completely immersed. I don't want to spoil anything so what I will end with is that this book literally had me put it down and walk away from it because I got so angry at certain characters. I had a pit in my stomach while reading some parts but the ending is so satisfying it made all of those feelings worth it.

If you're looking to read a domestic thriller with a mix of characters you'll love and characters you'll absolutely detest with a satisfying ending I highly recommend this book. Make sure to read the first book, The Last Mrs. Parrish first though!"
