"Second home run by this author in my opinion. When I saw in some of the other reviews it was a retelling of the original story I rolled my eyes but I liked the first one so much I picked up the second. It did not disappoint. It is a retelling of the original plot from 2 different characters perspectives. Even though it's a retelling it was done in such a manner it felt like a whole new book. I loved how when certain scenes intertwined it wasn't a copy and past of the original scene. Other than the dialogue used the scenes were done completely different and gave it a fresh and new feeling. Juniper is the polar opposite of Rae, she's a strong female lead who pulls no punches about not being a hero. She's in this for revenge and never hides that fact and she's a total badass, so much so she gives Zane a run for his money. Zane is a loveable arsehole. He's witty, strong, sexy and fun. Don't let any of that fool you because he too is a total badarse too and these two couldn't possibly be more meant for each other! They are going to give Hell some trouble when they finally get there, but no rush to that yet.<br/><br/>"

Yea she was already a badass, but I guess giving your soul to a delcious demon like Zane changes you for the better! Haha <br/><br/>It was a perfect blend of dark paranormal romance. Highly, HIGHLY, recommend!!"
