"I listened to this book on audio which may influence my opinions.<br/><br/>Pros:<br/><br/>I love that this book is the perfect crossing of contemporary and paranormal romance without really crossing major lines. It seems like a good testing book for those who like one genre to try the other.<br/><br/>The families in this book are really wonderful and make you wish you lived in their town and could be part of their family.<br/><br/><br/>Cons:<br/><br/>I really dislike the narrator’s choice to make the children’s voices so grating and annoying. I cringe every time. It sounds as though they were meant to be basically good children but they sound like awful little monsters always screeching."

It is sweet, comforting and as pretty as poetry. Each book focuses on a brother and their chosen person as they come together and each book brings us closer to figuring out the Inn’s ghost and why she is still around and what happened to her and her Billy. Each book just brings me so much hope and sadness. I have read these books a few times by now and every time it still hits me hard, the love, the loneliness, the struggles, and the hope. <br/><br/>Beckett has loved Clare for so long that it just warms my heart to see him finally get to be with her and her boys. Avery foretold it when she was 5 years old that one day she’d marry Owen. And Lizzy was going to settle things between Hope and Ryder if it was the last thing she’d get to do. Along the way Momma Montgomery also got the happiness she deserves. Everything is just tied up in such a neat little bow. It’s absolutely perfect, maybe a little too coincidental but perfect nonetheless. Nora Roberts has a way with words and kismet. I love when she threads the past with the present and adore the ghosts and back stories she weaves in. I will absolutely continue to read more by Nora Roberts! <br/><br/>PS: My other favorites by Nora Roberts are In the Garden trilogy and the Bridal Quartet. They are both just as magical and romantic as this series. In the Garden also has a ghost like this one but much angrier.
