The girl they are competing for is important to the organization, and each boy will pursue her. Will she choose a Nice or the Bad?Both Caden and Dylan are living in the outside world for the first time. They are well-trained and at the top of their games. They have to be – whoever the girl doesn’t choose will die. What the boys don’t expect are feelings that are outside of their training. Feelings that could kill them both. The Love Interest by Cale Dietrich is a gay YA thriller that is non-stop action from start to finish.

"I feel like it's good for a fun little read. I see a lot of people taking it a bit too seriously and I don't think that's the purpose of the book. I really had fun reading this."

"The Love Interest by Kayley Loring *****/*****
#AudibleSale #Review

Triggers:
Subgenres/ Tropes: Grad Professor/ Student, Two Authors

This story was the perfect mix of cute, quirky, and sexy. The Love Interest by Kayley Loring was a very interesting take on classic troupe. This story was told from 4 POV’s so it could get a little crazy at times but there was plenty of notice before the POV switch. This book is told from Emmett and Fiona’s POVs for the most part but as their love story hits big milestones so do the characters in their books so we also get Jack and Williams POVs in their story line and them talking back to their writers. I loved this insight into an author's mind and wonder if it is really like that for some writers. One of the things I enjoyed the most about this book was the relationship development. I am super glad the climax wasn’t super long compared to that. I don't think that there was a single thing I didn't like about this book.

I really like Kayley Loring’s writing style. No two of her books are alike and I love that freshness when I crack open a new one. I also love that she always chooses really great narrators. At this point I can safely say that I will continue to snap up all of her books and thoroughly devour them. She is not quite up to auto buy list status but def auto read list.

Ebook: https://www.amazon.com/Love-Interest-Kayley-Loring-ebook/dp/B091RM5X89/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=the+love+interest&qid=1628500078&s=digital-text&sr=1-1
Audiobook: https://www.audible.com/pd/The-Love-Interest-Audiobook/B092JPHZW7?qid=1628500102&sr=1-1&ref=a_search_c3_lProduct_1_1&pf_rd_p=83218cca-c308-412f-bfcf-90198b687a2f&pf_rd_r=AA0YP2VSJM3J1WVHQVGE
Author Website: https://www.kayleyloring.com/
Goodreads Review:"
