There is tragedy, beauty, hope, acceptance, friendship, fear, and great loss. It bounces between these women's lives, all who had good times, and bad. Through it all, they learn, live, laugh, love, cry and evolve. This was a fantastic read, and I am glad I stuck with it as it started off a bit slow but as it progressed, the characters came to life. I really enjoyed it. <br/><br/>It's more of a 4.5 but since Goodreads doesn't do quarter ratings I rounded up."

"The three storylines were woven together so well. I loved the full character audio narration. I did find Alice’s story slightly less interesting than Sabine and Lottie’s, but overall it was the necessary piece in the tragic & tangled web of S & L’s love story."
