"<strong>In continuation </strong><br/><br/>The third book of the Stillhouse Lake series takes a shift and has Gwen involved in another case due to her notoriety. <br/><br/>It wasn’t as heart pounding as the first two books, but I do enjoy all the characters and can’t wait to see where it goes next."
"Another great book in the Stillhouse Lake series! Poor Gwen and the fam can’t seem to catch a break, but it makes for an engaging story! It’s hard not to root for Gwen and Sam, and I’ll definitely be continuing this series to see where it goes."

"This the third book in the Stillhouse Lake series - and you really should read them in order, since the events from the first two books serve as the background. Gwen Proctor (she changed her name from Gina Royal, after divorcing her serial killer husband Melvin Royal) continues to be harassed by people (including relatives of her husband's victims) who are convinced that she either enabled or assisted her husband with his horrific crimes (an ongoing theme from the first two books). She receives a phone call from a stranger - a woman in Wolfhunter, a small Tennessee town. The woman says she is in trouble and fears for her life, but does not elaborate why. Soon after, Gwen receives another phone call - this time from the woman's daughter, who is standing next to her mother's dead body. Gwen witnesses over the phone the arrival of the police. She is asked to come to Wolfhunter to give her statement. Accompanied by her teenage children and her partner, Sam (who is the brother of one of Melvin's victims) they travel to Wolfhunter, where they stumble into deadly situations. <br/>I enjoyed this book as much as the two previous books in the series. Definitely worth a read!"
"⭐⭐⭐⭐ Boy! trouble follows our heroine and her family in way you can't imagine. This time, as her life is settling down, a new wave of unexpected attacks, betrayals and mystery pull them into a small town, where tensions churn their emotions and also bring unexpected moments of growth. Even though they are assaulted with a barrage of synchronistic situations, I find them possible. I love the writing, it is poignant during scenes where emotions run high. "
