"Candace's struggles with remembering that only we can control ourselves amidst uncharitable acts towards us makes her so relatable. She is just as human as everybody else, and I can imagine being a public figure does not make it easier. I would recommend this book to other women in a creative way. We most specially have to be kind to ourselves and one another."
