"2.5 stars. As a huge Jojo Moyes fan, I was so excited for this book to be released. I have read all of her books and love her ability to insert humor into real-life issues. But this latest book just didn't do it for me. So often while reading I found my mind wandering to my to-do list because the book just didn't seem to go anywhere.

I finished the book because it is Jojo and I love her but it just didn't hold my attention. The ending was the best part of the book and I am glad I stayed with it. Hoping Jojo's next book is as good as her earlier ones.

Pros: In typical Moyes fashion the character development was fabulous. Each character grew and changed and understood more about themselves and each other as the book progressed.

Cons: The lack of a good hook and an outstanding plot to back up that hook. The story just plodded along with no real destination. It felt like nothing was happening. Furthermore, it was just too long with too many characters that didn't lend to the story. Eliminating some of the extraneous details that didn't add to the story might have helped?"
"I really enjoyed this one!"
