NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER From the celebrated author of Inward comes the second in series, a collection of poetry and short prose focused on understanding how past wounds impact our present relationships. In Clarity & Connection, Yung Pueblo describes how intense emotions accumulate in our subconscious and condition us to act and react in certain ways. In his characteristically spare, poetic style, he guides readers through the excavation and release of the past that is required for growth. To be read on its own or as a complement to Inward, Yung Pueblo’s second work is a powerful resource for those invested in the work of personal transformation, building self-awareness, and deepening their connection with others.

"This one is a bit hard for me, personally- to rate; there is a tremendous amount of wonderful words and ideas in this, but the flow and some of the repetitiveness of it is just enough to keep me from giving it more than about a 3.5 - 4 ⭐."

"I would have gave this book 3 1/2 stars but it’s not an option. I did like the book. I did enjoy the book. It was just not at all what I expected. But as the book Suggest the idea of being open to change I was open to this book and to love it as it is. To me most of it did not feel like poetry. Rather it felt like a compilation of thoughts. There were certainly some poems. But the palms seem to lack any rhythm or lyrical thought. I understand that there’s a variety to palms but I just didn’t see the literary work that I expect to see in poetry. The content was profound at times redundant but I think that that’s kind of important to show the process and the journey. The content held me but the low rating mostly comes from my feeling of miss labeling the type of book. Obviously this is just my opinion. But it’s what I’m here to share. Still would recommend just know that the content is dense and might take some time to get through if you are to truly process it all."
