"Rhett Eaton. Just fueling the fire to my cowboy obsession. I loved watched Summer and Rhett fall in love and boy did I love Rhett’s family. My favorite part though has to be the chapter in Harvey’s pov. I loved this book and the fact that there are 4 more in this series just makes my heart happy."
"** SPOILERS **
i think the most important bit of information should be that i’d ride that cowboy…now that we got that out of the way. i think this book was very sweet and i started it off a whim. i had been reading some ana huang books and it just wasn’t fulfilling my need for a book right now but this fit perfectly. i will say it is a little clichè for the fact that, the daughter of the industry that was meant to keep rhett out of the limelight fell for him? totally a clichè, HOWEVER, the author did a good job at making a lot more turns before they had gotten together. there was the trope where they couldn’t be together but wanted to, and then they just stopped fighting it. i think kip started to be my favorite because he acted very unaware and distant but then you realize he was trying to get summer to realize all of it on her own. i think the overall meaning of this book too was very much what i kinda needed to hear now recently turning 21 and thinking almost the same way as her.
finding out about doctor douche was a total shock. like WHAT???? and kip and winter never knew??? also why the f*ck was winter mad at summer??? (also now for whatever reason im realizing the names winter and summer…definitely dont like that at all) i would also throat punch summers step mom in a heartbeat with no regrets (sorry not sorry but the woman deserves it)
i dont wanna spoil all my favorite parts so i’ll leave that to if yall do read it. however the truck scene in the epilogue was having a knot in my throat just reading it. AND WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG TO POP THE QUESTION??? ikik it was a reasonable timeframe and a gentlemanly way of doing it but wtf man. any whooo i think we know how i felt about this. no further explanation needed 🫡"
"I’m not super into cowboy/rodeo romances, but this book was good. I didn’t really vibe with his physical description, but the spice level was great. I was surprised at the twist with Winter so that was good and. I was honestly disappointed that Rhett didn’t finish his competition. I get the whole point, but I wish he could have competed, won, and then retired. It was a quick read too which I enjoyed. I’ll continue with this series for sure. Hopefully the others are just as good. "

"⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
This book was predictable and a little boring. The woe-is-me lover’s quarrel trope with the injury at the end was a little annoying, and I didn’t really connect with any of the characters. The spice was okay, I really don’t appreciate post-workout sex where someone is grimy and sweaty.
I will say that this book has way too many similarities to Rebel Blue Ranch. Family of cowboys with a handful of brothers and 1 sister, then the “adoptive” kid. Red-headed best friend. FMC with a heart iss— oh wait, that’s Tame the Heart. Regardless, I felt like I read this book before, though I will say Rebel Blue Ranch did it much better.
Also, take a shot every time Summer “rolls her lips”. Couldn’t stand that phrase by the time I was halfway through the book. The writing style in this book just isn’t for me, something about the narration gave me valley girl vibes. It almost felt like it was written by a teenager. I am also going through the wringer at the time of writing this review, so that may just be the cynic in me.
I may revisit this series in the future, but right now I don’t really care to continue it."

"4.5 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
I devoured this book. I don’t know what secret sauce Elsie Silver put in here but it had me unable to put it down.
This small town romance had me giggling and kicking my feet, holding my breath, and warming my heart.
♥️ “But what I saw that night was a man who’d burn everything down to defend you. I saw a man who’d risk it all to take care of you.”"
