"Delightful, but a bit too frothy at the end. I love Harry Rutledge, and Poppy was sweet. I did want it to be a bit messier, though? It all wrapped up too cleanly, I wanted ANGST from how that wedding happened, and I feel like the villain was a cop out."

"This book - WHEW! What a rollercoaster. First, I HATED Harry. He was an a**hole to the extreme. What he did to Poppy to get her to marry him was horrible. He used her and baited her. All in the name of selfishness. Poppy is a great character - like all of the Hathaway women, she's fierce and loyal. She won't bend to anyone and she won't sacrifice her scruples. But, as my book buddy said, "Keep reading - Rutledge does come around." And, he did, and it was SO sweet :) I liked the 3rd act conflict (reading "And then Harry disappeared" was a bit of a WTF moment) and how Leo was able to shine and save the day. So, to summarize: I was ******, then sad, then happy, then anxious, then happy again. A rollercoaster of sorts."
