"This book was more entertaining and had better dialog than Jennifer Armentraut books imo."

"It took me a little bit to get into this one and I went back and forth on how I felt about it for most of the story. In the end I can say I did like it, but some of the plot felt rushed or not completely developed like others in this genre. I am starting right into book 2 and hope it gets even better. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
"3.5/5 ⭐️
I would honestly give this a 4 star if it wasn’t for the lazy writing. So much was left to the readers imagination without explanation. You would think for a book that’s set in Italy, we would get some magnificent clothing, views and what not but none of that. Oh well, I certainly liked both Emilia and Wrath. But the execution of the book could have been better."
"I loved the world and characters. I’m a sucker for anything involving “the devil”. So if you read this and were on the fence, keep going! Books 2 and 3 were so good and also way spicier than I thought they were going to be given the level of this novel. With that said, if you want to let your kids read this series- I would say it’s okay for 17-18+ and I would recommend preview reading the spicy chapters in books 2 and 3 before deciding whether or not it’s an appropriate series."
"All the witchy/demon vibes, so well executed you forget it’s YA! I loved the clash with the Italian culture. Highly recommend if you’re a fan of this genre! "

"First things first, this book had such a cheesy plot and character dynamics but it’s okay cuz I genuinely enjoyed it. Immediately from the start, I was amazed by the world building the author was able to create. Especially the parts focused on the food, like i was hungry reading it. The whole book was super easy to follow which made it an engaging read. The last thing I liked was how the main character got development but still held onto her core values and tbh I thought that was nice.
What I didn’t like however, was how far I was in the book, around halfway, and the two main characters HAD just decided to start to work together. It had me nervous for what was to come next because I didn’t want it to climax too early. But also I was so tired of the Main character not agreeing and getting herself in trouble. It felt just a tad repetitive. Another thing was that the plot twists were kinda basic. It wasn’t really that dramatic or life changing of a plot twist. My last thing is that when reading this book, I had to constantly remind myself what was going on because you get so many different storylines happening all at once. I handled it well but I found myself forgetting about other information/plot points.
Overall, this book was a level up for me as I’m trying to get back into fantasy. I don’t typically read stuff with witches or demons but I found this to be a good starter book into that whole sub genre."
