"I liked this book but there are two things you should know if you are thinking about reading this. 1. This has a lot of angst for a Christmas romance. 2. The word “dude” was used 80 times according to my Kindle… 80 times. Imagine a big build up and it being something along the lines of “I love you dude.” 🫠 Do what you want with that tidbit. "
"This book was so adorable! Even though I read it in summer, it brought the warm and joy of a Christmas season to life. I thought Matthew's journey was really well done and I loved the anxiety representation. The anxiety attacks and the stigma were really well done and as someone with anxiety, I felt really seen. Hector was amazingly sweet along with the grandparents and Noelle (and other supporting characters). "

"If you liked the Aristotle and Dante books, or “And They Lived”, you’re gonna love this. It’s a bit of an irritating start, frankly, but as you get a few chapters in, you realize that was intentional on the author’s part. It had me in tears at the end. The character development was unparalleled and I plan on reading it again next Christmas "
