"I didn’t like the way the “deal” started Justin did seem like he was interested in her and had an interaction with her before so it was pointless to do the whole agreement. I didn’t like how quickly Hannah canceled her date with Justin, I felt like it would’ve been interesting to keep it until after her date with him and then go with Garrett. I was looking for drama and I did get it but it wasn’t worth it and the whole “issue” was just resolved quick. Overall the love story was sweet how they fell for each other. "

"I loved this book soooo much! Hockey romances are quickly becoming some of my favorites! Hannah is so sweet, I positively adored her, and Garrett is definitely one of my new favorite book boyfriends! College setting, very spicy, tons of banter, and also kind of emotional in places! Enemies to lovers, fake dating, slow burn, opposites attract, dual POV! I would recommend checking the trigger warnings before picking this book up because it does talk about some pretty heavy topics. Overall it was a really great book, and I'm definitely looking forward to checking out book two!

"*WARNING THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS* I love this! This would have been a 5 star read if there wasn't that "bump in the road" towards the end of the book. I honestly didn't think Elle Kennedy would have brought such a heavy topic within the first page of the book, so it shocked me. I definitely didn't think this was going to be a super duper happy book but still. But I do love how she wrote Hannah's character, and how she's dealt with what happened to her back in high school, you know? It didn't seem like she made it her whole personality or anything, she went to therapy for help and has finally moved on from it, which is great. I will admit that both Garrett and Hannah kind of "fell" for each other pretty fast(it was only a week or so they spent together), i feel like maybe it could have taken a bit more time. But! Their connection was amazing, they balance each other out. I don't like some of the cliché lines like "I'm such a klutz" or something like that, it made me cringe lol. Garrett is a good guy overall, a bit of a womanizer but hey he got the girl in the end lol. I really disliked the miscommunication leading into the 3rd act breakup. I mean come on!! Why? It wasn't necessary at all Hannah, just talk to your boyfriend!! I love the fact that Garrett knew something was up, it just didn't make sense for him. Great read, I need the next books ASAP!"

"I’m at a loss for words! I seriously cannot even begin to try to explain how much I absolutely love this book! It’s definitely my new favorite and I cannot wait until I can read the others. I usually have the attention span of a fruit fly and it takes me FOREVER to finish books if I ever even finish them at all. But this? My God, I flew through it in just a few days which is a whole new record that I’m still trying to wrap my head around. I could barely put it down and when I did, it was all I thought about. I’ve never really been one to read books. But I found myself actually irritated every time I had to stop up until I could finally continue 😂"

"i feel like the ending wasn’t as detailed as the rest of the story, almost felt the last two chapters were rushed. but over all i liked it. it was predictable, but had some twists that aren’t in other stories i read similar to it. "

"So I thought the book was very cute. Love the silly bickering. However I don’t believe it’s worth all the hype don’t get me wrong it’s a great book but I wouldn’t call this by far near the best romance novel. Their relationship in my opinion was too quickly. I would much rather prefer the enemies to lovers to be more slow burn. "
